She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Edward and Freda Griffith Curry of Virginia; her husband Willard G. Drake; her son Stevie Edward Batten; her granddaughter Wendy Lee Batten; and her siblings, Linda Carpenter, Kathryn Walters and Joe Curry.

She is survived by: her son Roger Lee; her daughter-in-law Ramona Batten of Temple, Texas; her daughters, Mary Charlene (Tom Blake) and LouAnn (Norman Craig); and her grandchildren, Bo Batten, Scott Batten, Amy Smith, Melissa Blake, Travis Blake, Mary Beth DeMoss, Kristen Blake, Lauren Craig and Lane Craig. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
