She was predeceased by: her parents, Iverson Velvy and Goldie Marie Smith Linger; her husband Leon Wright; and her brother Iverson Velvy Linger, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Diane; her son-in-law Doug Cottrell of Spencer; her sister Frances Linger of Clemmons, N. C.; and her sister-in-law Juanita Linger of Newton. She is also survived by two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
