He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley O. Roton and Rosie Strickland Roton; his wife Patricia Staples Roton; and his siblings, Dewey Roton, James Roton, Nancy Dailey and Wilma Toler.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Fox (James) of Marion, Sheila C. Russell (Michael) of Brookpark and Billie Beldotti (Louis) of Delaware, Ohio; his nephew Billy Shafer (Christina) of Spencer; his grandchildren, Tina Susak of Brookpark and Cody Wollam (Sara) of Delaware, Ohio; and his siblings, Roy Roton (Diane) of Spencer, Christine Wellman (Ed) of Princeton, Linda Boswell of Elkview and Phyllis Spencer (Roger) of Big Chimney. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
