She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Clinton "George" and Naomi Helen Guthrie Williams; her husband Delmar Ray Matheny; and her siblings, Larry Williams, Harry "Tiny" Williams, Joyce Morgan and Carolen Sue Williams.

She is survived by: her son Michael Ray Matheny of Spencer; her foster children, Vickie A. of Maine and Jeremy T. Saunders; her grandchildren, Addison Lee Matheny, Raidyn Rae Matheny, Noah Ray Burdette and Brandon Lee Cline; and her siblings, Terry A. Williams (Carol) of Spencer and Judy Scott (Roger) of Statesville, N. C..
