He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Whiting and Edith Tanner Whiting; his grandson Gabriel Whiting; and his sister Brenda Cain. He is survived by: his wife Shirley King Whiting; his sons, Randy Whiting (Donna), Kevin Whiting and Gary Whiting (Lisa); his grandchildren, Brandyn Whiting (Corie), Amanda Balatbat (Janus), Gara Whiting, Rustan Whiting (Kaitlin), Devin Whiting and Cole Whiting; his great grandchildren, Lillian, Ariella and Clara; and his siblings, Romie Whiting (Louise), Linda Stalnaker (Charles) and Donzel Whiting (Patona). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; many friends.
