He is survived by: his sons, Andrew Mathewson and Daniel Mathewson; his stepson Ryan Jersey; his daughter Anna Rose Mathewson; his granddaughter Mariana Mathewson; and his siblings, David Mathewson, Alfred Mathewson (Patty), George Mathewson (Lynn), Russell Mathewson (Debbie), Linda Short (Cliff), Rosemary Harrell Angie Detweiler and Estella. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
