He is survived by: his children, Melinda Anderson of Spencer and Franklin Smith of Elizabeth; and his siblings, Alice Falls of Mt. Zion, Sadie Ann Cunningham of Morgantown and James Smith of Newton. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
