Barbara Metz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2025, at the age of 78, Barbara Metz of Spencer, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Lemaster and Minnie Suttle Lemaster; her husband Allen Metz; and her sister Marge Harper. She is survived by: her son Michael Metz (Jessie Summers) of Spencer; her grandchildren, Chelsea Ferrebee and Ryan Metz; and her siblings, Owen Lemaster (Sue), Jack Lemaster (Doris), Arthur "Happy" Lemaster and Jean Metz of Spencer.
