It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick David McCallister of Southside, West Virginia, who passed away on August 9, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Calvin Albert McCallister and Ida Ellen Dailey McCallister; his wife Gloria Lee Harrison; his children, Regina McCallister Wright, David McCallister (Margy) and Jennifer McCallister Martin; his grandchildren, David Wright (Bethany), Laura Wright, Andrew Wright, Alan Forbus (Jess), Kelly McCallister Blackmore (Paul), Megan McCallister Steele (Adam), Becky McCallister, Michael Martin and Jordan Martin Hall (Joe); his great grandchildren, David, Ella Jo Wright, Chloe Blake, Penelope Blackmore, Madison, Sadie Forbus, Kaylen Martin, Jolee and Hyatt Hall; and his sister-in-law Sandy MacCallum of Charleston.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Fred's Memory to the Gideon's International, Mason County Camp. Donation cards/envelopes will be available at the service.
