He is survived by: his mother Janet Goodson Rose; his friend Catherine Malashevich; and his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Hammons (Stephanie), Amanda Hammons, Leona Locklear-Perez, Travis Rose Matthew Hammons (Sherrie) and Michael Hammons (Dana).
