She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lewis Whitt and Laura Melissa Whitt; her husband Archie Lee Lester; her sons, William Noble Lester and Neal Matthew Lester; her sons-in-law, Jimmy Farruggia and Eckie Vest; her siblings, Mary Sizemore, Garnet Dawson, Howard Whitt, Maford Whitt and Estil Whitt; and her granddaughters, Beth Ann Bauguess and Aria Farruggia.

She is survived by: her grandson Justin Lester; her children, Danny Lester (Sarah) of Itmann, Margie Gail Vest of Sophia, Sheila Lea Lester (Jay) of Dobson, NC and Lisa Ilene Farruggia of Crab Orchard; her daughter-in-law Dewanna Lester; her siblings, Freda Lester, Barbara Laughter, Fred Whitt and Hobert Whitt; and her close friend Duana Edwards. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that monetary donations be made towards the headstone.
