She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Thacker and Kelsie Fuller Hensley; her husband Harry D. Cook Sr. Along; and her siblings, John Thacker, James Thacker of Arizona, Fred Thacker of Georgia, Daniel Thacker of Virginia, Ann Miller of Kentucky and Patricia Piggott Gerth of Minnesota.
She is survived by: her siblings, Bob Thacker of Kentucky, Mary Maldovan and Martha Hatfield of Kentucky; her sons, H. David Cook, Jr. (Kathy) of Sophia and Steve Cook of Illinois; her grandson Jason Cook of Illinois; and her great grandchildren, Alexander and Zachary Belcher of Sophia.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association so others may find peace with this disease someday.
