He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond L. Richards and Cordelia "Tootie" Collins Richards; and his sister Virginia Cadle. He is survived by: his siblings, Tolley Richards (Katherine) of Beckley, Lois Pittman (Charles) of Sophia, Shelby Neri (Jun) of Princeton and Barbara Howerton (Joseph) of Sophia; and his aunts, Lucille McPeake of Sophia and Ella Bowman of Beckley.
