She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Opal" and Ercyle Smith; her brother Bennie Arbaugh (Sandy); her siblings-in-law, Allen Facemire and Debbie Smith; and her nephew B. J. Facemire.
She is survived by: her husband Kenny Bird; her children, Angie Withrow (Clint), Jason Bird (Polly) and April Aldridge (Matt); her siblings, Jimmy (Cathy), David Smith (Judy), Tom Smith (Rita) and Katie Facemire; her grandchildren, Lexi Bird, Isaac, Aaron and Rachael Withrow; and her stepgrandsons, Dustin and Joshua Stuart. She is also survived by many friends and a large extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Elizabeth Baptist Church to support the youth BYF program.
