He was predeceased by: his stepson Christopher Nunn; and his parents, Clarence Hughes and Josephine Cecil Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his children, Tara Monroe (Jerry), Tonya Crist (Randy), Tracie Hughes and Josh Pennington; his stepdaughter Kerri Sheets; and his siblings, Mary Gayton (Roy), Paul Hughes (Lynn), Herman Hughes (Kay) and Bobby Hughes (Chrystal). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
