He is survived by: his wife Suzy Bates; his daughters, Anna Bates and June Gail Bates; his grandchildren, Bradley, Ashley, Addisyn and Kevin; his great grandchildren, Trinity, Ryleigh, Daniel and Dillon; and his nephew Chris Carnes.
