He was predeceased by: his parents, Bronson Smith and Mary Smith (Weekley); his wife Gracie Smith; and his siblings, Bill Smith, Clifford Smith, Maxine Dunlap, Irene Hayhurst and Wilma Coen.
He is survived by: his son Eric Smith of Smithfield, WV; and his siblings, Joe Smith of Smithfield, Donald Smith of New Freeport, PA and Karen Smith of Canton, OH. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
