He was predeceased by: his parents, Kinsey L. George and Hazel M. George (Ball); his grandson Jeremiah Anderson; and his brothers, Samuel, Conard, Ernie and Jack.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine George (Swiger); his children, Kimberly Smith (Jon) of Bellaire, OH, Rachelle Morgan of Stephens City, VA, Marsha Anderson of Smithfield, WV and Aaron George of Farmington, WV; his grandchildren, Andrea Stoneking, Derrick Smith (Megan), Kasey Smith, Douglas Morgan, Taylor Smith (Sara), Amber George, Hailey Janes (Elijah), Meghan George and Joshua George; his great grandchildren, Kinsey, Chloie, Emma, Koby, Aliyah, Cale, Oliver and Cormack; and his sisters, Shirley Derby of Jacksonburg, WV and Karen Harris (Clinton) of Reader, WV. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fishing Derby for 2025.
