He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hoy Riffle and Ada L. Malone Riffle; his wife Betty June Beckner Riffle; his children, Charles Timothy Beckner, James Edward Riffle and Sandra Kay Alkire; his siblings, Leonard Riffle and Dorthy Gibson Jeffries; and his brother-in-law Russell Myers.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Rosenberger (Joe Lipare) of Smithers and Mary Sue Alkire (Lloyd) of Weston; and his siblings, Ralph Riffle and Joane Myers. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
