Gloria Carr Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Carr of Smithers, West Virginia, who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Boyd Carr, Sr.; her parents, Bailey Moore and Grace Moore of Cannelton; her siblings, Jerry Lee Moore, Beulah Jackson of Pratt and Jean Jenkins of Cannelton; and her brothers-in-law, Glen Jackson of Pratt and James M. Jenkins of Cannelton.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Carr, Jr. (Tommy) of Smithers and Anna Marie Hancock (John H.) of Mount Carbon; her granddaughter Erika Dawn Carr of Charleston; her great grandchildren, Dylan Thomas Carr, Dominic Michael Carr of Mount Carbon, Destiny Alexis Scott and Brea Jewell Scott of Deepwater; her brothers, John "Bud" (Shirley Moore), Larry Moore of Montgomery and Gary (Mary Moore); and her caregiver Stacey Jarrett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and countless friends.
