She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurmond Basham and Hallie Basham (Lawson); her close friend James Hendrix; her husbands, Joe Lester and Milton Lehman; her children, Bobby Lester and JoAnn Lester; and her siblings, Roger Basham, Ina Mae Pierce, Anna Hungate and Linda Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Horton (Randy McGraw), Linda Weeks (Jerry), Bonnie Spence (Terry), Ray Lester (Goldie), Angel and Robbie Rhodes; her grandchildren, Jasper, Marsha Horton, Mason Horton, Melissa Toler (Rick), Megan Horton (Ashleigh), Derek, Melissa Weeks, Melinda, Richard Cantley, Terry Spence Jr., Beth, Jason Spence, Debra, April, Steven Ratliff, Donald, Katie Lester, Cody, Savannah Lester, Madalyn Lester, Sheila Bradford and Lilly Rhodes; her great grandchildren, Dustin Horton, Nick Horton, James Toler, Madison Crouse, Bryar, Laci Weeks, Waylon, Fallyn Cantley, Remington, Knox Lester, MacKenzie, Jaydon, Kian, Aaron, Jace Spence, Ellie Jo, Josie, Finley, Ava and Austin Ratliff; her great great grandchildren, Tanner, Trenton, McKinlee Horton and Aspyn Lester; her brothers, Daniel, Billy and Jimmy Joe Basham; and her pets, Cupcake, Bell and Gizzey.
