He is survived by: his wife Brenda Parks Rose; his children, Kevin Rose (Paula) of Bluefield, WV, Ernest Rose Jr. (Nicole), Charles Rose (Ginger) of Princeton, WV, Tammi Steele (Joe) of Maybeury, WV and Angie Mulkey (Bucky) of Skygusty, WV; and his siblings, Jack Rose (Patsy), Nannie Mathews (Al), Alma "Cookie" Barnes (Ricky) and Dorothy Bryant. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
