He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bassett Cooper; his children, Sheila Cooper of Paden City, Connie Fluharty (Frank) of Middlebourne, Kathy Greathouse (Robert) of Wileyville, Karen Shreves (Jim) of Sistersville, Barbie Keys (Rickey) of Sistersville and Virgil Cooper (Tracie) of Sistersville; his adoptive daughter Marilyn of Middlebourne; his sister Patty Mercer of Colliers; and his grandson Jimmy Buck (Melanie Pettus). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
