Thomas Hayes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2025, at the age of 73, Thomas Hayes of Sistersville, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Newton Hayes and Iva Evelyn Slider Hayes; his siblings, Donna Hayes Buck (Clark), Stanley Hayes and Tracy Hayes; his brothers-in-law, Bill Hissam and Gary Ludolph; and his mother-in-law Shirley Herbold.
He is survived by: his wife Debra "Debbie" Hayes of Sistersville, WV; his children, Heather Cullymore (Jerry) of Berlin, OH and Thomas "Jarrod" Hayes (Lisa) of Parkersburg, WV; his grandchildren, Catherine Hayes and Thomas Hayes; his siblings, Penny Ludolph of Paden City, WV and Rick Hayes (Marietta) of Middlebourne, WV; his father-in-law Ernest Herbold of Sistersville, WV; and his siblings-in-law, Temara Hissam of Sistersville, WV, Lois Hayes of Paden City, WV, Sue Hayes of Newport News, VA and Ernest Herbold (Lori) of Paden City, WV. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oxford Street Church of Christ (219 Oxford St, Sistersville, WV 26175). A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
