He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Stewart and Gladys Spence Stewart; and his brother Charles Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Burgess Stewart of Sistersville, WV; his children, Jesse Stewart of Pittsburgh, PA, Charles "Chip" Stewart of North Augusta, SC and Erica Perry (Heath) of Augusta, GA; his grandchildren, Ellen Gail Perry, William Heath Perry, Nancy Stewart Perry and John Spence Perry; and his brother Bucky Stewart (Hazel).
