We bid farewell to Roberta Mary Ellan Dawson Tanley Beaver of Sistersville, West Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 10, 2024 at the age of 80. Roberta Mary Ellan Dawson Tanley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Dawson and Ollie Snider Dawson; her husbands, Dale F. Tanley and James Jerry Beaver; her siblings, Joseph Dawson, Betty Dawson Travis and Bonnie Dawson Boor; her son Dale Fredrick Tanley, Jr.; her great grandchild James Reed; and her stepson David Beaver.

She is survived by: her children, Sherry McNemar (Bobby), Danny Tanley (Janet Beegle) and Jeffery Tanley; her stepchildren, Cindy Welch, Charlotte Beaver and Scott Beaver (Darlene); her grandson Jeffery Scott Tanley; and her siblings, John Dawson, Truman and Barbara Ann Dawson Gump. She is also survived by several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and several lifelong friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Myers Funeral Home (600 Main St, Sistersville, WV 26175). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
