He is survived by: his child Jim; his daughter-in-law Jennifer; his child Sarah; his son-in-law Ryan of Charlotte; his friend Graham; his wife Julia Thistle; his son James "Jay" Thistle (Jennifer) of Nashville; his grandchildren, Charlotte Kidd, Graham Kidd and Ava Kidd; his sister Nancy Ibberson (John) of Riley; his nephew Christopher Ibberson; and also, Papaw of Charlotte and Sarah Kidd (Ryan) of West Chester.
