She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tate and Laurie Tate; and her brothers, Robert, Charles and James Tate.

She is survived by: her husband Edmond A. Burdette; her grandchildren, Danielle McCutcheon, Jeremy Payne, Jonathan Payne and Joshua Wilcox (David); and her great grandchildren, Zach McCutcheon, Zoey McCutcheon, Ethan Payne, Kyleigh Payne, McKinley Payne, Kayden Payne, Karley Payne, Kamron Payne and Elaina Parsons-Payne.
