She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Slater and Golden Slater; her brother Rondey Slater of Sissonville; and her brother-in-law Timothy Nichols. She is survived by: her children, Linden Slater (Tracy) and Melissa Cox (Jimmy Keeney); her grandsons, Derrek Slater and Elijah Goodwin of Sissonville; and her siblings, Virgil Slater, Howard Slater (Barb) of Sissonville, Reba Nichols of North Charleston, Carol Slater and Mae Lovejoy (Gary) of Sissonville.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Clark Cemetery.
