She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Billy" Whittington and Frances Thaxton Whittington of Sissonville; her brother Roger Whittington of North Carolina; and her grandson Parker Weekly of West Virginia. She is survived by: her son Christian Whittington "Whitt" Dailey of Knoxville, TN; her sister-in-law Judy Whittington; her brother Bill (Judy Whittington); her grandchildren, Brooklyn, Georgie and Emma; her nieces and nephews, Rob (Brandy Whittington), Jason Whittington, Monica Herr, Julie Berry and Janna Burford of Sissonville; her friends, Debbie and Joanna; and her cousin Sheila.

In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Hubbard Hospice House of Charleston to honor the staff who comforted Palma during her final days.
