It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Lee Slater of Sissonville, West Virginia, who passed away on August 29, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Syble Slater and Zettie Slater of Sissonville. He is survived by: his sons, Lee (Cindy) and Cody (Phyllis); his wife Carrol; his children, Keith, Patti Lamb (Mike), Kristi Melton and Kimberly Starcher; and his siblings, Daniel, Luther (Mary) and Pat Gibson. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic a Celebration of Lawrence's life will be held at some future time.
