Though Juanita may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Juanita touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George "" Cantrell of Tennessee and Irene Harrison Cantrell; and her husband David Lee "Tony" Burgess. She is survived by: her son Rodney Burgess (Susan); her granddaughter Hannah Deel (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Sophie Deel, Riley Parker Deel (Evan Given), Bradyn and Katheryn Given; and her caregiver Joy Kelley.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Long & Fisher Funeral Home (6837 Sissonville Dr, Sissonville, WV 25320). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
