It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joshua Allen Burdette of Sissonville, West Virginia, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Larry Burdette, Clair Curtis McKemy Jr. and Adrian Wilkinson; and his uncles, Rick McKemy and Shawn McKemy.
He is survived by: his brother Holdon Burdette; his grandmother Eunice Burdette; his children, Josh and Brenda Wilkinson; his close friends, Trevor Thaxton, Don Whittington, John Myers, Colton Cougar, Kolby Burdette, Erik Bailey and Dustin Thaxton; and his uncle Dale Thaxton.
Due to Covid-19, masks and social distancing will be required.
Memorial contributions may be made in Josh's honor to Beyond the Backyard, a charitable youth foundation.
