It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Wayne Slater of Sissonville, West Virginia, who passed away on August 31, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nishel Slater and Audrey Phillips Slater. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Morgan, Crystal Titley (Paul), Larry Slater and Jason Slater (Marie); his siblings, Nishel Slater Jr. (Jane), Phyllis Boggess (Nemo), Michael Slater (Rigenia), Tommy Slater, Raymond Slater, Patricia Chatterton, Billy Joe Slater and David Slater; his grandchildren, Bradley, Matthew Timothy, Logan, Makenzie, Cassidy, Jacob, Christopher Morgan (Chessie) and Hunter Slater; and his great grandchildren, Josh and Carlie Morgan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family.
