It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Thaxton Whittington (Sissonville, West Virginia), who passed away on August 7, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Romie Thaxton and Goldie Thaxton; her husband Jimmy Otis Whittington; her siblings, Linda Faye Beane, Bobby Thaxton, Hillard Thaxton, Charlie Thaxton and Paul Thaxton; and also, Dorothy Casto, Betty Harrison and Genevieve Workman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Whittington Thaxton and Shawn Whittington Faber; her grandchildren, Kristin B. Thaxton and Colton; and her niece Becky Ann Beane.
