She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemma Jackson Webb and Emma Dicie Wheeler Webb; her husband Herman Boggess; her grandson James Kevin Boggess; and her daughter-in-law Mary Jane Boggess.

She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Ann Boggess (Larry), Linda Kay Drake (Joe), David Lee Boggess, Ricky Jackson Boggess (Debbie), Thomas Bradford Boggess and Charles Gordon Boggess (Greta). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
