It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Edna Deskins of Sinks Grove, West Virginia, born in Dublin, Virginia, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Otis and Pauline Masters Carter; her husband James Ray Deskins, Sr.; and her brothers, Thomas, William, Jr., Charles, George and Joe Carter.
She is survived by: her children, James Ray Deskins, Jr. (JoAnn) of Sinks Grove, WV, Dean Harvey Deskins (Bonnie) of Alderson, WV, Stephen Duane Deskins (Andrea) of Williamsburg, WV, Chris Allen Deskins (Laura) of Maxwelton, WV, Faye Pace of Fairlea, WV and Phyllis Jean Garcia (Mike) of Talcott, WV. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, one step-grandson; twenty five great-grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
