With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ruth Thomas of Simon, West Virginia, who passed away on March 5, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Walker and Ida Walker (Patterson); her sons, Randall Lamar Thomas, Earnest James Thomas, Donald and Ronald Thomas; and her siblings, Barbara, Ruby Walker, Clarence of Clifford, J. D. and Billy Walker.
She is survived by: her husband Randall Ross Thomas; her children, Richard Thomas (Chris), Jennifer Russ (Ben) and Shirley Whitten (Bret); her grandchildren, Brandy Blankenship (Chad), Ricky Thomas (Paige), Eric Thomas (Kira), Brian Spurlin, Desiree Walls (Chris Roberts) and Ryan Walls (Miranda); her great grandchildren, Kenzie, Ashton, Dylan, Kaden, Brayden, Ciera, Harley of Kimberly, JB, Colson, Trinity, Baby Thomas, Jasmine, Elijah and Austin; her sisters, Ida "Kathy" Walker and Inez "Faye" Walker; and her close friend Juanita Morgan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.
She attended the Apostolic House of Faith Church, Foundation Fork, Simon, WV.
