With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Malone of Short Gap, West Virginia, born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on September 25, 2021 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Malone and Shirley Malone (Long) of Short Gap; his sister Robin Smith; his grandparents, Elmer, Zula Long, Edward and Delena Malone; and his sister-in-law Ethelyn Knepp.
He is survived by: his son R. H. Lapp; his wife Kelly Malone (Knepp); his children, Rebecca Fincham (Shawn), Dezeray, Joseph, Jeremiah, Zachary, Robert Nathan Malone (Ashlee), Leneigh Davis (Drew), Miranda, Jayla, Adam, Hayden, Baileigh Mae, Emberlee, Brooklin and Kenneth Malone (Janielle); his grandchildren, Trey, Quinten, Zylor, Baylor and Maddux; his siblings, Donna Swick (Ivan "Bun), Jonas Malone (Sheila) and Arthur Malone; his brother-in-law Ray Smith; and also, Paula Davis (Mike), Edward Knepp (Linda), Belinda McKracken (Dennis), Jeni Knepp (Steve), Connie Blake (Robert), Natalie Orcutt (Gary) and Patrick Knepp (Jennifer). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
