With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nile E. Chaney (Short Gap, West Virginia), born in Patterson Creek, West Virginia, who passed away on February 23, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Pyle (Glenn Pyle) and Edward Eugene Chaney; and his friends, Jean and Leo Everett. He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay Chaney (Pollock); his children, Jeffrey Scott Chaney, LaCinda K. Rudy (John) and Gregory Steven Chaney (Lisa); his granddaughters, Kayla Chaney, Kira Chaney, Samantha Deamer (David), Tabitha Rudy, Alyssa Rudy, Morgan Chaney, Joyceln Chaney and Jordan Chaney; his great grandchild Bryce Weakly; his sisters, Eileen Hitchins (Harry) and Sue Phillips (Kenneth); his half-sister Lois Miller (Chaney); his siblings-in-law, Patricia Counihan (Pollock), Edward Davis and Robert Pollock (Vonnie); and his friends, Bernard Douthitt, Dottie Everett, Jim, Linda Hoey and Retreat. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
