He was predeceased by: his father Charles W. Rice; his wife Shelia Jean Rice (White); and his brother Charles "Butch" Rice. He is survived by: his close friend Buffy; his son Richard "Pete" Rice (Rose); his granddaughters, Destiney B. Rice and Tiffaney R. Rice; and his great grandchildren, Elayna R. Rice and Axel K. Rice.
