She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Richard Didawick and Jesse Pearl Didawick (Long); her husband Balford Thomas Shrout; and her siblings, Marie Shrout, Elsie Bergdoll, Francis Brelsford, Isabelle Spiker, Eva Pyles and Richard "Dick" Didawick.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Thomas Shrout (Lisa) of Fort Ashby, Kathy Louise Davis (Christopher) of Linden, VA and Timothy Scott Shrout (Sandy) of Short Gap; her grandchildren, Ashley Bennett (Jonathan), Molly Bennet (RJ), Bailey Lynn (Alex), Codie Shrout, Lindsay Davis, Casey Davis, Micah Davis and Daniella Shrout; her great grandchildren, Anabelle, Bryce and Isaiah; her stepgrandsons, Matthew Moyer (Craig Walker) and Travis Moyer; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Cameron and Corbin.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be considered to help assist with funeral expenses (Shaffer Funeral Home ~ 230 East Main St. ~ Romney, WV 26757).
