He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Black Mushet and Isabella Mushet (Davidson); and his siblings, Henry "Harry" Mushet and Elizabeth Ashbrook. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mushet (Beagle); his daughter Beth Anne Abram (John Jr.); his granddaughter Makayla Abram; his sister Margaret Daily of Short Creek, WV; his niece Sharon Flamini (David); his daughter Holly Johnson; and his friends, Shriners and Masons. He is also survived by son (niece) along with numerous other nieces and nephews.
