With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Frederick Dequasie (Shirley, West Virginia), born in Little Hocking, Ohio, who passed away on October 27, 2019 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon B. DeQuasie and Garnet E. Hendrix DeQuasie; his wife Shirley; his sister Wilma Hall of Little Hocking; and his son Wilson Boyd DeQuasie.
He is survived by: his brother Dale DeQuasie; his children, Doug DeQuasie (Sharon) of Ravenswood, WV, Liz Benson (Terry) of Spring City, TN and Bonnie Smith (Rod) of Ravenswood, WV; and his grandchildren, Danielle Williams (Josh), Steven Landis, David Crump (Christina), Mike Smith, Amy Morgan (Scott) and Bryan Smith (Randi). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
