He is survived by: his wife Laura Jean Lucas Powell; his siblings, Dorothy Lucas (Bobby), Gypsy, Jan Davis (Neil), Perry Shears and Diana Dodd (Robert); his stepfather Ronnie Mayle; and his stepsiblings, Richard Powell, Donnie Powell and Roberta Dunn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
