It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Mitchell Riley of Shinnston, West Virginia, born in Fairmont, West Virginia, who passed away on November 17, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Riley and Kathleen Sestito Barnes; his son Cody Daniel Riley; his parents-in-law, Bernard and Cecile Joyce; and his sister-in-law Judy Rankin.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Joyce Riley; his children, Chad Riley (Shelley) of Shinnston, Clay Riley (Whitney) of Shinnston, Clark Riley (Carey) of Shinnston, Abby Kovalck (Patrick) of Shinnston and Ally Maxwell (Josh) of Lumberport; his grandchildren, Chase (Hanna), Alyssa, Ashlyn and Addison Riley; his children, Brenna, Avery, McKinnley, Cade Riley, Payton, Emery, Jackson Riley, Claire, Hadley Kovalck, Colby and Cecilia Maxwell; his brother Rodney Riley (Kathy) of Lumberport; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Joyce of Shinnston and Patrick Joyce (Lori) of Bridgeport. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
