It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rhonda Kay Ash Cavins (Shinnston, West Virginia), who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Murle Leonard and Freda Fonda Ford Ash; her children, Hope, Faith Corathers and John Leonard Griffin; and her siblings, Albert Ash (Camilla), Rexford "Rex" Ash and Larry "Charlie" Ash.
She is survived by: her sons, Erick Griffin (Wendy) of Richmond, VA and Joseph Griffin (Shannon); her grandchildren, Bella, Libbie, Max, Mya, Joey, Isaiah and Luka Griffin; her siblings, Sharon Ash Darby (Jack) of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Rita Ash Costilow (Bill) of Salem, Janice Ash Evans (Jerry) of Salem, Donna Ash Yerkey (Bob) of Salem, Leonard Ash (Debbie) of Salem, Rick Ash (Roberta) of Salem, Freeman Ash of Salem, Lester Ash of Salem and Jeff Ash of Salem; and her sister-in-law Linda Corathers Ash of Carthage, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
