He is survived by: his wife Emma Carder Garrett; his daughter Crystal Byrd (Bryan); his grandson Brandon of Good Hope; his daughter Shelby Renzelli (Doug) of Good Hope; his nieces, Loretta Kay Reader, Charlotte Ward of Good Hope and Joyce Ann Phillips; his nephew James Garrett of Good Hope; and his sister-in-law Garnet Garrett of Clarksburg.
