We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2023, at the age of 96, Norma Mae Thompson of Shinnston, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Blare and Hattie Blare (Jett); her husband Fred Patrick Thompson; her son Jim Thompson; her siblings, Mary Blare, Madeline Blare, Lewis Junior Blare, Challens Blare and Earl Blare; and her grandson Brandon Ford.
She is survived by: her children, John Thompson (Charlotte) of Shinnston and Cheryl Davis (Edward "Bubby") of Spring Lake, NC; her grandchildren, Trevor Matthews (Becky), Trey Matthews, Hope Onesti (Nick), Carrie Ford of Clarksburg, Stephanie Lucas (Kris) of Bridgeport, Maria Sutor (Kit) and Mindy Huffman (Aaron); her siblings, Lindsey Blare (Viola) of Peora, Robert "Bob" Blare (Judy) of Ravenswood, Clifford Blare (Sara) of Vancouver, WA, Jean Zirkle and Emma Deem (Darrell); and her caregivers, Alissa Buffy, Elizabeth Meade and Norma. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
