It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Sue Shrout Newman of Shinnston, West Virginia, born in Parsons, West Virginia, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Turner Melvin Shrout and Ellasue Shrout; her husband Herbert "Jerry" Newman, Jr.; her grandson Gabriel Smith; and her brother James Shrout.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Smith, Cindy Lewis (Scott), Shelley Rardon and Jay Newman (Kelly); her grandchildren, Sarah Kille, Carleigh Lewis and Parker Newman; her great grandchildren, Ariah, Alanna and Alexa; and her brother David Shrout (Wilda).
